On November 27, Syndroid uploaded the launch trailer for the Serious Sam Fusion mod. The story for the mod is made to take place before the events of the animated short film Blade Runner: Black Out 2022. The story-driven mod includes many bells and whistles, such as voice acted characters, cinematic presentation and set pieces, and plans for VR support in the future. This new cyberpunk mod pits players against the Blade Runner series' beloved cyberpunk Los Angeles and its many dangers while they play as Trixie, an escaped prototype Nexus 8 replicant fighting for her freedom.
